We are a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing and promoting Catholic education by providing funds for school projects and scholarships.

Grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Foundation nurtures, promotes and supports Catholic Education.

Our Mandate

We assist initiatives enhancing Catholic education, we provide scholarships to students, we recognize excellence in Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and we nurture and promote the importance of Catholic Education in the greater community.

It's all about the kids.

In the spring of 2009, the Board of Trustees of the Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools passed a motion to see the creation of an Education Foundation. The Education Foundation is to enhance the mission of Catholic Education and promote the advancement of education for students.

The Education Foundation looks to two sources of revenues:

• Endowments, which are monies held in perpetuity that are managed by the Red Deer and District Community Foundation. As the fund grows, interest will be a significant source of revenue.
• Fundraising, which are monies raised through different events and initiatives that will allow the Foundation to immediately begin its mission.
